Sugar Plum, Leopard Solid and Professor Caesar Gabriel were taken to Peru five years prior to A Thousand Kisses. Peru is the home of the Inca Empire. They got lost in the Nazca (Nasca) Highlands. After wandering for three days and nights an old man appeared out of nowhere and saved them. Then he gave them strange powers. They never found out who the old man was.
